We are hiring!Job Title: Procurement coordinator Location: BasraEmployment Type: Full-timeJob SummaryWe are seeking a Procurement coordinator responsible for sourcing goods and services, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality and compliance.Key Responsibilities• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, and reliability• Request, analyze, and compare quotations and bids• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings• Issue purchase orders and follow up on delivery schedules• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and applicable regulations• Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases• Coordinate with finance, logistics, and end users to meet operational needs• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delays, quality, or shortagesRequirements• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field•Proven experience in procurement or purchasing (typically 2+ years)• Strong negotiation and communication skills• Solid understanding of procurement processes, contracts, and supplier management• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar is a plus)Apply by sending your CV to : Recruitment@alanmaa.com with the subject line procurement coordinator
